What I've learned since moving to D.C. (some of which should be obvious): 0135

6701.  I can say I’ve watched fireworks from a boat;
6702.  Elizabeth (drunkenly) said she loves me;
6703.  Elizabeth doesn’t like tomatoes on burgers and sandwiches;
6704.  Elizabeth doesn’t like watermelon;
6705.  Avocado and a little bacon is pretty good in a lobster roll;
6706.  A good place to watch the (4th of July) fireworks along the Potomac (River) is the footpath on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge;
6707.  FideuĂ  amb allioli (i.e., vermicelli noodles with shrimp, squid, mussels & garlic sauce) is similar to paella;
6708.  I am loveable;
6709.  For people to begin to thrive in life, they usually need positive moments to outweigh negative ones by at least a three-to-one ratio;
6710.  Trusting your intuition is all about trusting yourself and the more trust you place in yourself, the more success you will have;
6711.  When you act on the information you receive from your inner source of wisdom (i.e., intuition), you open the channel between your subconscious and conscious mind even wider and will receive more intuitive messages that are stronger and easier for you to hear and act on;
6712.  Neuroscience research indicates that intuitive insights not captured within 37 seconds will likely never be recalled again;
6713.  If you think that you’re separate from your purpose and that you’re drifting without direction through your life then that’s precisely what you’ll attract;
6714.  When you’re awake enough to question your purpose and ask how to connect to it, you’re being prodded by the power of intention.  The very act of questioning why you’re here is an indication that your thoughts are nudging you to reconnect to the field of intention.  In a sense, thoughts about your purpose are really your purpose trying to reconnect to you;
6715.  Your inner being knows why you’re here, but your ego prods you to chase after money, prestige, popularity and sensory pleasures and miss the purpose of living.  You may feel sated and gain a reputation, but inside there’s that gnawing question, “Is that all there is?”  Focusing on the demands of the ego leaves you feeling unfulfilled.  Deep within you, at the level of your being, is what you were intended to become, to accomplish and to be.  In that inner placeless place, you’re connected to the power of intention.  It will find you.  Make a conscious effort to contact it and listen.  Practice being what you are at the source of your soul;
6716.  Don’t take people for granted.  No matter how much they love you, people get tired eventually;
6717.  Fall in love with taking care of yourself.  Fall in love with becoming the best version of yourself, but with patience with compassion and respect to your own journey;
6718.  The things you say about others also say a lot about you;
6719.  I can say I’ve gotten a handjob while watching a Ferris wheel (specifically the Capital Wheel at National Harbor);
6720.  Elizabeth is an INFJ;
6721.  What’s a sign of a nice hotel?  The answer is: Complimentary sunscreen at the pool;
6722.  The Fairmont Austin (Fairmont.com/Austin) may have the nicest hotel pool(, that is,) if you don’t include the ones in (Las) Vegas (casinos);
6723.  (Central) Texas barbeque is good, but (really) salty;
6724.  Split a beef rib at Terry Black’s Barbeque (TerryBlacksBBQ.com) (in Austin, Texas). . . . It’s (good, but) humongous;
6725.  What’s a(nother) sign of a nice hotel?  The answer is: A Nespresso machine and an electric kettle (with cups and glassware) hidden in a dresser on a pullout drawer;
6726.  Leftover beef rib would probably be (really) good in a breakfast hash or omelet;
6727.  Feelings come from your thoughts;
6728.  There are 4 core issues: 1.  Worth; 2.  Safety; 3.  Perfection; and 4.  Needs;
6729.  80% of your self-worth needs to come from inside, while 20% can come from outside (i.e., people are social beings);
6730.  Stoicism is meant for wartime (and) not everyday life;
6731.  There are no negative emotions just lighter and darker ones;
6732.  The full expression of an emotion tends to be on 20 minute intervals;
6733.  Acknowledge your fear and use it;
6734.  Live without fear of fear;
6735.  You’re not supposed to be happy all of the time and vice versa;
6736.  Joy is fleeting and quick;
6737.  If you feel the full spectrum of emotions, you’ll feel content;
6738.  What’s (yet) a(nother) sign of a nice hotel?  The answer is: When the cleaning staff neatly arranges your toothbrush, razor and other toiletries on the bathroom counter;
6739.  Cooper’s Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que (CoopersBBQAustin.com) (in Austin, Texas,) is good (too);
6740.  No one makes you feel anything at all.  They come from your thoughts.  You are responsible for them;
6741.  There are 8 core feelings: 1.  Anger; 2.  Fear; 3.  Pain; 4.  Shame; 5.  Guilt; 6.  Joy; 7.  Passion; and 8.  Love;
6742.  Feelings usually come in groups of three;
6743.  Anytime you’re angry underneath there’s fear;
6744.  Anger feels sharp and spiky all over the body;
6745.  Fear has a tingling (feeling) on top of the stomach;
6746.  When you feel pain, your heart hurts;
6747.  When you feel shame, you blush/turn red and (you) may feel flushing/heat;
6748.  Whatever you feel guilty about shows your values;
6749.  Guilt feels like a gnawing in your gut (like it’s eating you up inside);
6750.  Joy feels round and buoyant in the body;
